My Evo 8 MR vs my friends GT35R s2k
my buddy alex and I finally got a chance to get a run in. my car is bolt ons, cams, ported head and a race transmission, and newly an evo9 turbo, untuned.
this run was on 21 psi. which is low boost for me. normally im on 24. my boost controller had gotten stuck the day before and spiked to 30 psi. i kept the car under boost till i got home, and passed out from being so exhausted throughout the day. later that night i got up and opened up my boost controller to fix it. the ball bearing was jammed into the bottom of the mbc. got it fixed and turned the boost up a tad. i left it at 1.5 bars because i didnt plan to run anyone and 21 psi is fine enough.
the next day i rolled to my friends place and we got some runs in but i had completely forgotten to turn the boost up to where i normally have it. damnit! the difference for me is saturday night, i ran my friends stg2 sti with bolt ons and meth and on 21 psi put 1 car on him. on 24 psi i put 4 cars on him.
anyhow excuses aside, heres the vid. definitely the fastest s2000 i've even ran. he made me drive it as well. jesus its nasty!

bonus vid.
saturday i ran my friend jeff again. he has an 06 wrx tr with a front mount conversion, fp green, upgraded injectors, utec, supporting mods, etc.
on my evo8 turbo, we'd pull dead even to 130. heres how things went on the new turbo. on 24 psi.

so for all the nay sayers out there. this is how bolt on evo's roll out. don't under estimate. awesome runs alex

damn im surprised none of you 42 guys who've read this thread are posting in it. i figured it would be riddled with "take that you slow evo" comments about how not to mess with FI s2k's lol.

nooooo. i want a green. unless i get a stroker, im not putting a 35r in my car. that'll be years down the line when the car is paid off though. till then a green wil suffice when i can afford one.

what kind of turbo are you running? 35r as well or 30xxr?
your driving does need a tad of work bro
i ran 12.41 @ 110.6 on my old shi*ty tune, before my good tune, before my evo9 turbo.
