[QUOTE=9kFever,Sep 8 2005, 08:53 AM] I live in California, and who are you to say it was all fabricated?

So we have a choice here, we can either believe numbers published by numerous reliable sources -- or we can believe a liar with a small dick who is known to make shit up.
LOL.

You need to tell us the DA for the track. Just spouting a number is almost meaningless. Some of you would be surprised how much temperature, altitude, and track prep affect results.

Without knowing the environment you can also look at other car results (e.g. S2000's in the high 14's or low 15's). I can see LS1's running high 13's some places but harder to swallow on slicks! My stock Z06 makes mid-high 12's at Carlsbad but I never broke below 13.2 at LACR (even with a 1.95 60').

Sorry, but total crap. People try to make it like VTEC is a magical turbo or something. The Porsche has this feature in spades. If it is an 04' like he claims they have the variocam plus which varies the timing on the intake & exhaust ports. Top speed on these cars is 175+ mph so even if he was tiptronic he is pulling on you not losing ground. Either he let off, and you did a ricer flyby or this story is BS. At speed weight factor is minimized, so you look at 325 hp boxer 6 vs. 240 hp I-4. With automatic, let alone manual would be even easier as all you do is push down on the accelerator.

DA doesn't matter in this case, he was talking about cars bracket racing.
