They aren't the same class of car. One is 2 seat sports car the other is a much larger, more comfortable, 2+2. They are in roughly the same performance class, but the s2k is more expensive and less versatile. Make fun if you want, I'm just a little confused about your logic.
i never said it was in the same class as a mustang in terms of size, weight, body style, cost, or anything else. obviously its a different car. and i'm not making fun of you, i think you just misinterpreted/misread my post.
as for being in 'roughly the same performance class' as you say... performance is measured many different ways i won't go there. the point of my post was that a v8 muscle car should blow away a 4banger in a straight line, because thats all the car is really good for in the first place - going in a straight line.
personally i bought my s2k to make my passengers fear for their lives while pushed against the door on curves, not for its 0-60 time...

Yeah baby
Add FI if you want better straight line speed, or you need to rear-steer around Jettas

You sir, are not right in the head for trying to compare a mutang to an S2000's far superior handling.
Mutangs handle like minivans - just face it trollboi. Poor weight distribution, unsprung weight, just about every way you can screw up a suspension - Furd strikes again.
Sheesh it could only pull a .84 on the skidpad - thats weak. If they can ever get one past the second cone they might be able to record a slalom time.
The SVT Cobra could only do .85
Even the 2008 Bullit reviewers are complaining about understeer. I'd be pissed if I bought a car like that, but was getting smoked by soccer moms in the turns. I'd probably even go on other boards and start throwing insults around and make lame arguments . . .. oh but wait, that's what you are doing.

I've spent some time on the track with s2ks and it was fairly even. Not sure why you think Mustangs handle like minivans. Been at the track lately?

Sure, I can do that....
I remember it was fairly even down the strait away.... and then when reaching the corner, the s2k that was beside you... left you so fast that you mistook the other s2k that was behind you, for him... Don't worry about it, this mistake happens all the time

I can see that any communication with you is a waste of my life. I guess I'll move along now.
