Default Modded M3 vs stock 01 Z06.

M3 has Cams, redone exhaust from the headers back, and ecu-work.

Still gets walked. The 01 Z06s put out 385hp. M3 in question is putting down 305rwhp, and, per the owner of the vette, has spent quite a bit of cash to get it to the current level. Not a big surprise, considering it weighs more than the vette.

Its at the top.

Thought I'd share.

C6 is a very appealing car on the road.

I've ran dead even with a 6 speed C5 though, so I'd expect to get thumped by a Z06.

Can't wait for the new C6 Z06 to hit the buyers market. My friend is a salesman over at huling. I actually like the new Z06 alot.

Everytime I run into Z06 owner, it's always compliments back and forth.

I really like the looks of the C6 though. In black! New Z06 in black would look vicious.

The race was from a roll, the M3 had no chance. Cars like the S2000 (if you want to run a Z06, you better have a turbo/supercharger w/ work on it), M3's, 911's better run them from a stop. The cars just don't have the torque to compete from a roll.

That's what 6-10mph difference in trap speed can do... in relation to any car. Yes, the M3 / and 911 still pull hard from a roll. E46 M3 pulls harder from a roll than a base 911, and much harder than the C4S, just clarifying that.

How does the base C6 compare against the C5 (Z06)...
