I've notice that s2000's can stand a good chance with the EVO 8, but does anyone have any previous experience with a EVO 9. I've heard that the EVO 9's are much faster.

only look about 30whp different and with different headlights, tail lighrs, front bumper, steering wheel, seats, engine, break lines, lift kit, carbon fiber dask dressup

 

I raced my brother's evo IX and no way a Stock S2000 can keep up.

 

evo 9 is fast!!
I raced my friend when i had only a intake, exhaust and test-pipe.
He walked me pretty good from 60 to 120. hes bone stock. That thing is a monster

 

evo 8 = chance for s2k. evo 9 = chance for s2k during REM sleep.. aka keep dreaming

 

sorry but even evo8 will walk all over an s2000. I mean yeah some drivers are better than others, I personally beat an evo at the track but in terms of equal drivers, the s2k doesn't stand a chance. A buddy of mine with an evo8 RS put down 262whp STOCK!?!?.. yeah I didn't believe it myself.

 

Xman that Signature is awesome...But I have to disagree with you about evo 8's with good drivers walking over s2000's...A few of my close friends own and use to own Evo's, and are definetly considered good drivers..The only place an evo will walk all over an s2000 is out the hole, which in this case Evo's will pretty much walk all over any 2 wheel drive car on the street's.

 

Evo 9 has MR specs....has 6 speed. Evo 8 has 5.
