Mercedes 230 sport vs RX8
Well I was driving with my girlfriend yesterday in Chicago. She has an MB 230 sport. Ok enough car, but certainly not a sports car. So, this RX8 pulls up at a stop light and is rocking back and forth trying to time the light and race I guess.
Anyway the light turns green, his car barely chirps the tires and he is off. I just watch the guy driving cutting in front of traffic and then slowely drive by as he apparently picked the slow lane and was boxed in.
Not a race obviously, but an encounter none the less. I guess when you have an RX8 you look for races you can always win. Typically when driving my S the RX8s won't even try, and I suppose I shouldn't bother either b/c they are quite slow.
I found this to be like me racing my S against a Ford Focus or something, completely pointless waste of gas.

Eh, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was in a hurry to get somewhere. Who knows, imminent diarrhea combined with a more than natural fear of forever-stained leather seats can make anyone rock his car back and forth.
Yeah, I'm bored right now. I should be studying.

Car really doesn't have 238 hp. Closer to 215-220. That is correct the average dyno pull is around 180 hp to the wheels.
