The drag turbo is very inefficient compared to the greddy kit. The drag turbo sits higher than the exhaust port holes. There's a guy in town who has the drag kit and he dynoed today (he has an auto stick). He put down 158 hp and 180 lb/ft of torque. I think they're going to do a little more tuning.
That said, my friend has the Greddy kit on his 98 prelude. From a stop, I will pull a half car or so every gear.
He ran last summer and got a 15.6 He checked his VAFC the next day and found that it was set for a V6, as this is the default. His car has not been tuned yet, either. He's adding an intercooler soon!

yea i have no idea y that guy got a drag turbo......seems to be a waste of money....few G's wasted...
yea it seemed that guy would only run a low 15's in the 1/4 mile...but all of his other stuff on there is not cheap stuff......i have no idea y he bought that kind of turbo.....but that guy is wierd he's got tien coilover and didn't even drop it....he had the guys who put it on leave it at stock gap....gay in my opinion

i have driven and raced my friends 02 prelude w/ drag turbo...they are pretty quick and very nice. but in fact our car is much lighter than the prelude so i guess that where we have the advantages.

that guy got his car tuned at Car Boys....it's the best place to get your turbo tuned at anywhere over here....sOo that shouldn't be a problem....but 13's.....i doubt it.....maybe 14's at best...but low 13's...i would have to see to believe
but it's a 98 and above....2000 or 2001 i believe
