Me vs. Turbo prelude
this is how it went.......(saturday around 4:30pm) I had just left my friends house enjoying the BAD ass weather..top down windows rolled down...just on my way home.....
when i saw this white turbo prelude.....i've seen this car around but never had a chance to run his ass.....its a 2000 and up prelude not sure on the exacted year....at first we were just messing a couple of times from a roll.. but never had a chance to go very long b/c a traffic.......but we soon got a stop light and i reved it up to 4,500k and we were off when it turned green ...but the race was already over before it began....his ass missed 2nd gear.... ....sOo i busted a U and he followed and got another light....i point at time saying one more chance......and i did the same thing and off we go.....i had him every gear..1,2,3,4 i stoped it at 100mph and was up by about 3-4 cars.........very fun race....but i thought it would be closer.......guess he's only running like high 14's to low 15's....sounded real nice w/ the blow off valve....but it was all for nothing....

That very suprising. I have owned a couple preludes. They are pretty quick stock. Would think it would be close with a decent turbo. Hard to get off the line though...

I have taken lots of preludes modded and stock but never had the privilage to race a turboed one. I used to have a 97 lude(my first) and my cousin has a 00. Alot of prelude owners seem to think very poorly about our cars on Prelude Online there is always someone saying that a tuboed lude would hand us our asses. I think with a good driver they would have good potential but stock or even modded lightly(I,E,P,H) you would just decimate. Good kill

Damn...I have raced a 88 Prelude Turbo (yes, 1988) and that thing surprised the heck out of me....the car looked like crap but all the way to 90-100 it was glued to my rear bumper...I maybe inched away a bit....but after 100...I pulled easy on him.....
Not bad for a $ 700 car......

nice job! I used to have a Prelude, they are pretty quick, but an S will still take it to them, especially in the turns S handles much better in my opinion.

Pretty much like our 1st -2nd gear grind, it just forces you to go back to neutral and to 2nd again. Thats one way to miss 2nd.
