Default ME vs S/C Prelude w/ Tanabe exhaust.

ran against a jackson s/c prelude today.
this is how it went...
started from a 10-15 mph roll
i was holding it in 1st
i lurched ahead to tell him to start
he punched it a little before i did
got him in first
when i shifted to second we were side by side
when i shifted to third i was a little before vtech and he was moving a little ahead maybe not a hoodlenght but a little
then i hit vtech and started catchin
shifted to 4th and started to leave him
then he shut down

i know him from school, and he's very determined to beat me, im stock.
fast lude though, maybe in a better driver it could beat me, i was doing lazy shifts.

low 15's, high 14's is what I've seen for properly driven stock, manual 5th generation Preludes.

With a supercharger, I'm surprised the Prelude didn't beat you, but nonetheless, good kill.

Oh, just for future reference, it's VTEC, not vtech.

My friend just installed a Jackson Racing s/c in her lude and she took me out yesterday (sunday) to let me see how her car is running, and her and I have concluded that low end is dissapointing, but top end is orgasmic.

You be the judge as to who would win b/c her and I know what the outcome is already.

racing is already dangerous but on wet roads be careful.
