Me Vs. E36 M3 and yellow too!

i've driven many M3 like i said i almost purchased one. took one home as a sort of thing the guy to make me buy it. test driven alot. sure i've never owned them but all my experiences with the M3 the S2k felt the same level if not a tad higher in the top rpm range (obviously) but you'll notice alot of e36 M3 owners will claim that the car starts losing its acceleration PUNCH at 4500 rpms around the time the torque stops flowing.
as far as that not being a USDM version u can't exactly rule it out either. Motor swap, imported, hell who says its even stock?
and i know an sti could trample on an M3 even with a bad launch were talking 4.5 seconds (acclaimed by subaru) to 5.5 seconds (bmw)
i'm not fabricating any stories nor am i saying the M3 sucks. but those videos are biased toward M3's. what i'm trying to convey to you is that i can get a video that proves M3's are slow, and i could get a video that says there faster then anything. videos dont show or tell me evertyhing. you could always edit them, over loop a sound, and theres not one ounce of proof that those cars are stock. or even if that "sti" was an Sti and not a WRX cause if its just a WRX then the M3 would beat it hands down.

I raced several s2ks when I had the M3, which was stock. If the s2k did not launch well, I would eat it alive. If they did launch, it was neck and neck.
Once I got the s2k, which was stock, I raced a buddy many many times, who had an identical M3 to mine, from both a roll and stop light...dead even.
