Me vs celica GTS (sorry, nothing too entertaining here)
I was on the way to the state fair the other day, when I encountered a white GTS on the freeway. I had the top down with the windows up, and my fiancee in the car. He had his girl in the car as well.
He passed me on the left, and from the back I could see he had an exhaust, so I sped up to try to play a bit. While negotiating traffic, I could see him glancing in his rear view. Once traffic cleared, I downshifted and moved over to start to pass him. He downshifted and it was on. From 65mph, 3rd gear roll, starting with my front bumper at his back....
By 90mph I had pulled even and gained almost another half length. Into 4th and had to shut down at about 110mph because we were coming up on traffic. By that time I was about 3 lengths ahead. (maybe 4??)
After that he went by and gave me a nice thumbs up. I gave him a wave and went on my way.
shortly after that, a 240SX pulled up next to the celica and they ended up going at it. I do believe the celica won.

You should spank the GTS easily. I was on the freeway one time, this silver GTS came up on my left side and gave me a loud rev then floored it. He got the start and I caught up to the guy easily following right behing him. He couldn't pull anymore so I was going to switch lanes. As I proceeded to the right lane to pass him. The guy shut down and stayed really far back in the slow lane.

I don't know how this is possible, but I dusted Celica GTS's (never lost) with my Integra quite a few times at the street races back in the day. The Integra was basically stock, I ran a 15.9

My friend has a GTS and we were on the freeway and we were just messing around racing so I take off and just spanked him after that I was just going like around 80 mph and im up front like bout 10 car lengths so I see him coming up on me and he passes me so I down shift to 4th and I start to catching up at that time we were going around 120 mph with the top down and windows up so he too is also going around 120 I just couldnt believe what that car was capable of he had an injen intake we didnt race evenly he told me his top speed was around 160 mph I top out at 140 mph I could of kept on going but we had to exit we missed the first exit.
The passenger also had a celica GT he had injen intake and exhaust he told me he toped out at 150 mph
