Hahaha! Didn't you just post this same question on www.clubrsx.com? What's the deal? I think the new ('02) M Coupes are bad ass. Have you ever raced a Z06? Those are monsters (405bhp).

Even the older 240hp versions will usually outrun S2k's -- the three S2000's that I have run have been left behind 2-6 lengths depending on the driver to 100 -- and before you say the S2k will pull ahead at speed, that gap is still increasing as I pass 120....

Yeah, well keep in mind that my races have been at altitude -- in theory the M's larger displacement gives it an advantage at altitude, at sea level the results could be different.

Either way, stock for stock the S2000 is hands down a better handler -- the stock M is just too softly sprung.

Here is a guy who is always talking shit about his S2k, but today for whatever reason he is in a mood to praise his car.

Seriously!

And a stock S2000 can take a stock 240 hp M coupe.

I think steve is just being a bit more realistic than many here want to admit. He's also had some bad luck with his car, so he's not as anthusiastic about it as most....
