Default Kraftwerks S2k Vs. Rx8 Vs. M6 :)

wuts up guys. i dont post most of my races (like joeyballs ) but these races i had to post. well not so much the rx8 but this the rx8 was the first race.

i was cruising at 65 when a rx8 pulls up revving. I could barely hear this over my invidia . i think im gonna go back to stock exhaust because slow cars keep trying to race me. Anyways i hear him (barely heard this) down shift, so i quickly downshift to 4th even though i shoulda went to 3rd... he went first and took a 1/2 car lead. my car went up to 5500 and just skyrocketed in front of him. I must have put atleast a bus length on him before i stopped. than he rolled up to me we tried to do a few more pulls but couldnt because of traffic. we both gave each other thumbs up and than he got off the highway.

Than as the drive goes on....

I keep cruising at 65-70ish just listening to music. Top is down during all this btw. didn't expect any racing. I see this car with xenons pulling fast to my left (im in the middle lane). It pulls up next to me and i just glance and im like oh w.e just another 6 series. w.e let him go. he goes in front and i see its an M6. Im thinking Holy **** i always wanted to race a newer M series. I go next to him cruise at 70 but he doesnt take. traffic is thick too.

Traffic clears up i hear him down shift. im 1/2 car ahead of him at about 80 in 6th gear. I ****in shift to 5th like a jack ass (should have went to 4th) he gunned it caught up to me took a 1/4 car lead, right when my car hit about 6500 i stopped his pull and started pulling on him. Beat him by a 1/4-1/2 a car at the end of 5th. we both gave thumbs up and he got off the highway. Nice guy

Kraftwerks SC high boost 07 S2k vs. RX8= Rape
KW SC S vs. M6= lucky victory of 1/4-1/2 a car. thank god we couldn race above 125. he woulda raped me a new asshole

Oh and if any thinks im bsing.... shit i was the first to expect a huge loss to the M6... but that race did give me a big

i believe it cuz the M6 does weigh ALOT more then our cars. That must have been the greatest feeling ever to beat a 100k+++ car

quick google for 1/4 times

found a timeslip saying an M6 ran 12.3@117

isn't that around what the KW guys were getting? i thought they were higher due to traction issues but still somewhere near there.

depends on driver but ive seen many many m6 drivers hitting 12.5-12.7 at 112-115

wow that was a close race. Its crazy our cars can hang with the best of best 500hp V10 Sedans.

KW AP2 2910lbs* 400hp = 7.2lbs per HP
BMW M6 3909lbs 500hp = 7.8lbs per HP


*includes 2855lbs OEM s2k weight plus estimated 55lbs for KW S/C. If someone has actual weight of all KW S/C hardware including fluids please let me know.


It kinda makes me wish my car wasnt dynamatted and didnt have a stereo system in it. Hell i still have stock headers, and exhaust and a softtop. I'd imagine an older ap1 with no softtop, a lightweight exhaust and wheels with a spoon hardtop and a Kraftwerks kit would make for hell of a killer combo.

i have a lighter than oem but not too light exhaust, and a wheels that are a shit load lighter than stock wheels (ce28s).

oh and also if you go by whp

S2k- 2910 lbs/ 350whp (low estimate for my car)= 8.3 lbs per hp
M6- 3909/ 430 whp (approx. 14-15% loss)= 9.0 lbs per hp.

lol i want to sell all the mods on my civic si and put the money into the s2000

hehe

4.56 rear end with a light single exit exhaust should do the trick.
