The hood cutting is not that hard. Dremel tool is a must to make it easy. It is very rewarding and the cutting does not do any damage.

Anyways I ended up gettin to where the freeway splits and I see in my side mirror the M3 coming pretty fast and passed me up so I sped up a bit and caught up to him. We were going about 65 when i saw him start to floor it so at this point he was maybe 1/2 car infront of me when i dropped it into 3rd gear and was head to head all of 3rd gear. When i shifted to 4th I actually pulled on him maybe like 1 foot. Our windows were down and I swear we were looking at each other the full time I was in 3rd then 4th I saw him slip back but we hit traffic at around 100mph and I had to slow down. I was pretty amazed with the performance of my s2k.

No FI... no way he was trying hard. BMW's in general are pretty strong on the highway.... that's a pretty strong area for the M3.

A lot of people don't "race." Driving fast is not the same thing. BTW, I am talking about the M3 owner, not you.

S2k is a great car but the M3 would rape you.

why is this story so hard to believe?

An M3 does the quarter around mid 13's at approx 105 - 106 mph.
An s2ooo does around 14.0 @ 100 mph. If the s2k has intake, header, exhaust and has a good driver with a strong factory motor, and the BMW driver isn't the best driver or has an avg motor, the s2000 will stay with it no problem.

You people make it seem like the M3 is so fast. It isn't. My cousin has one I've driven it 20 times. IM impressed with the speed, but not overwhelmed
