Sorry guys, I got caught sleeping by a modded GTI VR6. I made at least three cardinal mistakes maybe more. First, I didn't launch. I had been launching pretty well, but a little clutch burning incident kind of set me back a bit. Secondly, I hit the limiter in first and lastly I botched the 2-3 shift. (What a nightmare !) It was almost comical because I know this guy is happy as hell and I know I really f'ed up. After all this, he got me by about car length. Even after all the mistakes if I hadn't have botched the damn 2-3 shift I would have caught and past him. After this we went from a roll and I spotted him a couple of car lenghts and walked him down really easy. (This time with no botched shifts). I guess the moral is if you aren't going to launch don't race. (Especially from light to light) One mistake and it's over. I will have to make sure that this never happens again.

Just keep racing him until he realizes it was a fluke that you lost.

I doubt any street racer can say they never missed a shift..It happens...He knows he got over. most just dont have the testicles to post it.

Yeah it's okay ... It's true, not everyone has the courage to post that they have lost. Only wins, oh well ... At least you're brave enough to admit and you're definitely not a disgrace, it's no big deal after all. Everyone knows which is a faster car in their hearts, the other driver probably thinks you're wasting your time racing him.

Your not a shame to us. Vr6s Gti 1.8 are ****N FAST. If the 1.8 is chipped they run 14's If the Vr6 is supercharged they can run 14's too.
Volkwagens are freakn FAST if they are TUNED
