Ummm EVo 9 is wayy faster then a evo 8. ANd if the guy of the black ss was asian older guy with long hair u would stand no chance even if u were modded with every bolt on 
which i think it was him. Off the line he would beat u also. But this is iFFFFF its the same guy. Dono how many people wtih SS's have the same plates. The guy im talkin about is auto also.

Ok, explain to me "WAY" faster. I remember hearing how the 05's were way faster and I handed a few their ass. To me "way" faster is buslenghts not a couple cars. Im pretty sure (havent payed much attention to Evo's lately) that there are some Evo 9's that are getting slow times. That means the owners cant drive, so not all of them are going to be faster thats my point.

03/04 evo 8 = 230whp
05 evo 8 240 whp
06 evo 9 250-260 whp
depending on the dynos, STOCK
the 9's run 12.9's max, and the 8's 13.2ish max
up top they are a bit faster, mainly due to the MIVEC, but they are not WAY faster than the 8's in stock format. Modding them is a different story
Pretty sure that no SS with just exhaust is gonna pull on my 8 with flash and TBE, from a dig or up top. With cams, sure, but then I could add cams too

But i have raced stock evo 8's with my last s2k which had I/H and i beat him easy on the freeway. Well walkin on him till i put around 2 cars before we stoped. My friend has a evo 9 and i remember i was racing another car and he was next to me watching with a full car. 5 PEOPLE. For fun he raced with us and he pulled a good car or more on me before we stoped. Again i was alone and he had 5 people with him. Bone stock. So to me a Evo 9 is way faster then a evo 8. If u put a evo 9's turbo on a evo 8 u can gain around 20-30 Whp. So that would make a big difference
