....Humbled, as my girl kicked my a$$ (TL Type S vs. S2K)
Good thing my girlfriend doesn't read these forums, but I thought you guys would get a kick out of this... I had convinced my girlfriend last month to get a TL Type S (instead of another Volvo) when her lease was up. We both love the car, especially since I put my S2K away on cold days and we need to put around town in her car.
Well, last week was beautiful (here in Baltimore) and she and I had to meet up at a friend's house. Well, we left at the same time to head back to her house, so we picked up a main interstate (which is pretty straight and well-paved). Next thing you know, she's "messing" with me (with the top down), and she hits it... Next thing you know, she edges me out at around 145 mph (I had a lot of drag on the car, with the top being down, and being a windy day). We had to slow down after that to make our exit.
Just an interesting event, and the only time my girlfriend ever had a chance to get one over me on the road.

No embarrassment here.... Quite the contrary.... seeing her drive like that is the next best thing to seeing her in lingerie...
Though there may be embarrassment in spelling "embarrassment " incorrectly... :-)
