Title modified. Try to refrain from the use of the term "ricer in thread titles, in your posts is acceptable to a point.

Nope, thats me!!
I have had similar success with the imports, even with my old Cherokee 4.0 I had a pretty good record! The stock Cherokees are pretty darn quick, They are only 3,000lbs and actually have 225 lb/ft of torque. I do agree that after about 65mph they run out of breath (although mine is very strong to about 90mph) I am pushing 275hp (est) at the engine and 365 lb/ft of torque in the Grand Cherokee 5.9 V-8! Fun Fun Fun!!! Not too many cars will take me out of the gate!

If you haven't driven big-torque trucks then you don't realize how well they can go from 0 to low speeds. I run around in a Z06 but I still get mini-shocks from some truck that moves out with similar authority (until somewhere north of 20 MPH). I don't spin tires at every light but I like to put traffic behind me, so it feels odd seeing a big lump keeping up for a couple of seconds.

it wasn't a SH...it was a stick. Why do you all doubt so much? You all (well, two of you anyway) sound like a bunch of crybabies. Get over it. The 4.0 inline 6 of a jeep has great low end torque. It's made for off road use. The prelude would kill it in 1/4 mile. I only went to 60 mph. If you don't believe me, email me and we can set up a race between your friend's prelude and my cherokee. Winner gets a beer. But it has to be a short race. Maybe...75 yds or so.

Wow! your mom's friend must be really cool to supercharge a brand new Grand cherokee!! Are you sure it's supercharged...they don't come from the factory like that...sure it's not a Nissan frontier? A supercharged Grand V-8 is gonna run mid 13's in the Quarter, don't think an SH can do that!!
