how to beat a ricer prelude properly.
There is a black 97+ prelude with a sickening loud exhaust running around here. He's always darting in and out of traffic doing at least 20 mph over the legal limit. I always say to myself "someday we're gonna hit a red light together and I'm going to give him a lesson." So tonight coming back from church basketball it happens. I roll up on him at a stop light after he did a blow by. We gun it and I jump him by about 3-4 cars until about 60 when I shut down...he passes then and probably gets up to about 80. Well he catches the next red light so I line up again...and he revs. I just laugh. We take off, he peels a little and I just chirp...same exact ending. I finally got the chance to put him in his place. Ahh good times. I treated myself to a slurpee afterwards...and I was so happy with my Jeep Cherokee for beating that lude, I even washed the mud off of it.

It's a 4.0. Don't doubt the jeep off the line. It has 200 ft/lbs at only 2k rpm. The lude would have wasted me after 60 mph, as he was starting to gain at that point. But up until 60, I had him by 3 cars. And my jeep is bone stock. Seriously, the jeep is quick from 0-40. You'd be surprised. I always romp on the local ricers with it. It's hilarious.
