I have an intake, couple small goodies. I've pulled everyone ap1, and ap2 that I've run into. Most depends on driver, but guess it also depends on the car too.
do tell........were all brothers here.

At our Freshwater Tour the summer before last... we dynoed close to 25 cars... some ap2 and some ap1...

...and the only consistancy was inconsistancy!!

There were guys with everything shy of F/I (i.e. Jahnke and Luder94) who dynoed less the 100% stock s2k's like OOH-VAE... (if you look up jahnke and luder- they've both put about $20k into their cars)... A lot of it came to tuning- theirs may not have been properly setup for the modfications they had...

...but the moral of the story is their bound to be Matrix type anomalies... but if I took a mean or median stat from all the cars that ran (and this was a Mustang Dyno btw: see http://www.ayaracing.com and http://www.ayaracing.com/dynoday.html all the results might still be posted on his website)... the Ap2 performed VERY close to the ap1- with only a SLIGHT edge going to torque...

but hey... what do I know (I apparently can't change my oil according to Dave! )

DAVE DAVE DAVE.... So ignorant, so you think every ap2 dyno's higher than any ap1 huh!!!! Well how about my dyno day yesterday!!!! The ap2 had a drop in filter and a test pipe.... I have an intake, test pipe, and VAFC (one more mod than him). And guess what??? I dyno'd the same exact rwhp as him!!! . He did make 10 pounds more torque than me, but while he falls off the map after making peak horse power, I make the same amount of power after peak horsepower that I did at peak!!! For example, with my vafc, I picked up 27 rwhp at 8900 rpm due to my VAFC. And I know your going say oh if the ap2 had a VAFC it would crush me blah blah, but thats not true because the 00 and 01 ecu run very very rich which is why stock we dyno allot lower but with little adjustments were right up there with ap2's.... Whats your response to this one????

Here are the video's of the dyno: (and no its not me in either car, its the shop owner)

My car dyno: Ap1 (kayvan) dyno

Ap2 dyno: AP2 DYNO HERE
dude you just said exactly what daves been saying for so long!you dynoed 27whp with bolt ons.now just say thats 31.5 flywheel hp assuming 16% drive train loss.so that puts you at 240+31.5=271.5 flywheel hp. now just say that the ap2 dynos 10hp more cause it usually does around that just from the displacment increase/factory tuning.as stated by wisconsin in the post above they dyno alittle better than ap1 just in general. that makes it 250 flyhp so add those mods to it and you've got daves magical and yes it is oddly fast.....250+31.5=281.5flyhp.granted i doubt highly that is that much but from what you show us and the knowledge that we have of ap2 id say its a relitive statement.i personally think the ap2 is a better car from the displacment increase for the torque not the hp due to the leverage from the stroker crank.

OMG, you really dont understand this car at all!!! My peak power is at 8,300 rpm!!! Before it used to drop off to arounf 170 rhwp after that!!!! Not it stays in the 200 rwhp at 8,900 rpm.... Please think before you post

And the rest os your calculation's are just confusing and are wrong.... And for ap2 vrs ap1 thing... I was just trying to prove that the ap2 does make a bit more power but in no way does it blow it's doors off....

Why dont you ask vegas to go race rojaboy, he has ap1 supercharged which vegas claims he can beat... But of course no of this will be responded to. You guys will quote one sentance out of my post and ignore any thing that disproves you...

it would not surprise me if dave is making 275 crank horsepower with his mods. an ap1 can probably make close to that with similar mods.

however, my disagreement with dave, is that this does not make him even close to being a low 13 second car. 25-30 extra crank hp over stock will simply not take a .5 or more seconds off your 1/4 ET.
