Reading Wisconsin's post reminded me of this little encounter last night...

I'm out just cruisin' around enjoying the great weather with the top down. I'm starting to approach my left turn lane and 'lo and behold an accord jumps in front of me and immediately hits the brakes for the red light. I've got the music cranked up...what's that I hear?? Sounds like the guy is reving that thing in front of me. Well, we're at a light, so nobody is going anywhere fast. Finally, the light changes....the accord revs some more and.....*STALLS* out in front of me. I'm thinking WTF is this dumba$$ doing. He gets his four door, red hotrod restarted and finally gets through the intersection....chirping the tires on his way. Of course, I come around the turn ( in the right lane because this speedster wanted the left) and simply punch it (redline) and shift into second. It goes without saying I went around him like he's in reverse....but, I managed to sneak a peak as I roar by....a couple of pimply-faced boys - probably out thrashing mom's car in search of something soft....they've heard of something called females - they just have yet to confirm their existence! As it happens, I had to take a quick right after this....these boys are probably telling their mom's girlfirends that they "were starting to pull" on an S2000....

Well, there's a rustang around town that was reving on me a couple of weeks ago when the car had 150 miles on it....maybe I can locate him for the 2nd half of race #1.
