i dont see the point in bringin it up that fast...when the race is over at 100 anyway LOL
anything over 100mph on freeway i considered life and death, but the way i look at it......if you wanna whoop my ass....go ahead and do it and do it good so that i know better. Don't just slap me on the head and say..." boy, i got you...don't mess with me!"

Good run.
If it's an LS1, it's lights out for an S2K. LT1's are a driver's race though.....if they're stock.

I went to the exhaust-muffler shop today to see if they can custom make 3" pipe on the stock s2000 exhaust and the owner is a freaking die-hard fan on the hot-rod and muscle cars, and he told me that the Camaro SS = T/A ws6.....and pretty much so are the Z28 which put out somewhere around 300RWHP and that just stock.

I told him about the encounter i had with the SS last nite and he just shake his head, but then he say " but then again, i got my ass kick by a little civic on my 69 SS!"

he's right...GM made one LS1....although the 01-02 cars had the Ls6 manifold but slightly different cam i heard.

but fact remains...all the motors are the same and are about 340-350hp. the low base model Z28's should be faster than the optioned SS's because the Z is lighter by in some cases, 150-200lbs!! i heard factory stripper Z28's do high 12's at 109-110mph stock.

the only differences are SLP edition cars that had SLP mods from the dealer. catback and air lid/filter. they make abit more power. and Ram Air Ws6 cars has that filter in the hood, so that may add 5-7hp or so right there, but TA's are usually more optioned and are heavier

to see if they can custom make 3" pipe on the stock s2000 exhaust
you sure about 3inch? thats big enough to support 400hp on a 350-383 V8 let alone a smaller 4 cylinder. i think u'd lose too much low end power to make it not worth it...unless u plan forced induction soon

Yep, right now i have the rs*r exmag II on my car and the stock ones just laying around. So, I figured maybe i can custom make the stock into 3" incase i decided to go FI which i will in the nearest future
