Well, was on my way home from the S2K meet on I-635 and fixing to exit over to I-30...suddently i heard some car reving at me. I look over to my left and saw this white camaro SS still reving at me and the passenger waving his hand just to let me know they want to race. Well, i am against racing at night since i can't see a clear vission ahead of me (popo that hidden somewhere and traffic), and so i waved my hand out the window to let them know that i am fixing to exit. Next thing i knew the sucker slowed down and followed me...(guess those suckers thought that i wanna race them!). Oh well, what the heck.

Coming down the ram i stayed in third @6200rpm...I waited untill the camaro SS came up and lined beside me than i punched WOT. By the end of 4th i got him like about 4 cars length before i slow down to 75. I say to myself....WTF Guess the sucker wasn't ready cause i know there's no way i can beat him.

Anyway, here he came again..(damn, freaking clown doesn't wanna give up!). This time i just stay at 75mph in 3rd. Waited for him to lined up even with me and make sure he was ready this time. As soon as i saw his front end pulled forward....i punch it...and by 105mph i am at his rear bumper and he shut it down.

What so funny is that i fixing to exit into a service road and so i waved my hand out the window with the thumb up to let him know that he beat me, but the sucker thought that i wanna race him again, and so he followed me again Probably thought that i was gonna race him from the dig. What a freaking retard!

BTW...my mods are RS*R catback with comptech test-pipe and a drop-in K&N filter with gutted box for dry-air.

Yeah i know. Those SS is no joke especially with mods, but i was supprise that i can hang with him all the way to 105. Wished that he didn't shut it down just to see how bad he would beat me.

wow good job! only a car back by 105 isnt too bad at all. i would have expected it to be abit worse but i guess his passenger didnt help too much.

my buddies SLP edition SS with mild tune made 333whp...and runs mid 12s at almost 110mph. thats just a catback/lid/tune car....not bad at all!

Yeah not a bad run at all... your thread title made it sound a lot worse than it really was... those cars can be monsters for sure

hahaha....maybe i did, lol. But i feel that if he could take it to 130mph+ than it could have been worst, i wanna find out but the darn freaking dude shutting down on me!

I'm hoping to move down to Dallas an a year or two.... The roads down there are nice for highway races...

hopefully by then my EVO will be in the 650+ AWHP range
