First time taking my Car to the Strip.
Finally was able to take my car to the strip today. My first time drag racing. Boy did i pick the wrong day to go they had big money bracket racing going on. So all the big boys were out i think i was on of 6 cars not running slicks and open headers. There is nothing like first time staging next to a rail car that ran a 8.7@183mph. Anyways i found out it is a bitch to launch a SC S2000 i either would spin out or just bog down. My best time while bogging down to about 3500rpm (about 2500rpm below VTEC).

Now that I see the elevation of the track (HOLY SHYT!), isn't that like a low 13 run after conversion?
EDIT: That 14.358 is a 13.28 after conversion using this calculator

Thats a decent time with that elevation. Next time ya might want to try a launch with lowered tire pressure. maybe down to 28 or 26 psi. That would help your launch big time. A decent launch will help your times about .3 to .4 seconds.
