I was seriously thinkin about gettng a vette. I got sorta 'turned off' when I found out the C5 convertible top had to be manully operated.
I understand Corvette trying to stay with the 'performance theme' by trying to reduce weight and all, but I think Corvette owners deserve power top when they pay as much as 50k!!!

Now, for the record I'm not trolling on that board! I'm not WisconsinS2k!! I spend most of the time surfin on C5 and C6 forums because they are very informitive just like our board.
Don't get me wrong I still love my S2k, and it's gratifying just lookin at my baby.

Hopefully, I don't run into Vipers and Modenas again anytime in the near future *sigh*

Yes glen is cool as long as nobody posts "Killed LS-1" story on this forum LOL:

I would have preferred that our tops were manually operated... could've saved quite a few lbs.

I get to race a C5 next week . A c5 with mods , and nos . Will be fun regardless.

I think the motor only weighs 7-12 pounds. I am glad there is a motor on my top. You can add 7 pounds in a day just eating lunch at a mexican joint.

All I have been driving lately is a V8. It's fun but they can't handle. They are to fat. I miss my S
