man, i read that whole post. it was actually semi-interesting at first, but i quickly got annoyed by it. the annoyance didn't come from the comments themselves, but more from the repetition.

i really don't care what a person drives. your car doesn't make you a better or worse person. you are who you are. a car is a car. i've had crappy ones, i have one i love now and i'm sure in the very near future, i will have a much better one. who cares? as long as i'm happy is all that matters. i see plenty of people look at me with jealousy, hatred, etc. do i care? nah, i just turn away. i also see people with cars that cost as much as an average house (the area i live in is pretty wealthy). sometimes, they look at EVERYONE around them with the "bah, you are all inferior to me...look what i'm driving"....yet again, do i care? nope. i look at their CAR and think, "man, that's a beautiful car".

my thoughts: if you think the car makes the owner an arrogant fool, then you may be wrong. usually, the person was like that WAY before he even bought the car, it just surfaced with its purchase.

This is so stupid. Peterpan, please, give it a rest. Why the hell do you care so much? I see you in there getting pissed out of your mind at these people, totally blowing your top... over what? The fact that some Corvette owners have the "wrong opinion" of our S2000s? All you're doing is poorly representing S2000 owners with your explosive temper. This is so bloody trivial, I can't even understand. Hell, I don't even know why I'm bothering writing a reply to this thread.

If someone wants to be an ass, let them be an ass; no need to get all worked up about it.

Anyone with half a brain knows that the S2000 is an awesome car. Same goes for the Corvette. Both are extremely nice automobiles in their own right. If someone disagrees about either, let them.

I'm 22 and definetly not bald!

Anyway, as I said, they were just hazing you and you didn't quite pass it seems. I wouldn't take it personal. They trash on vettes and vipers too. The kill stories forum is where all the racers go and talk smack at CF. Most of them know each other outside of the forum. I talk smack about my buddies Mustang which is faster than my vette. It's all in good fun.

Yeah, believe or not most of my friends drive f-body camaros and some trucks with flowmaster. They are pretty cool *sigh* I live about 50 miles east outside Dallas. (90% rednecks around here and most riced out civics are here driven by some white rednecks so what gives?? )

But you can just smell the bad blood between CF and the ricers.

MCAA IRCA... pretty much says it all.

I love vettes....i can't help but stare when i see a c-5. Nice looking car! Some day i'll have a vette in my stall .....but for now the s2000 fits my needs better...a little smaller and a little easier to control. I really gotta get my driving skills up before i tackle a torque
monster. My favorite thing now is to go mustang hunting or prey on an older vette. I like domestic and imports but i do get a thrill outta beating a bigger cubic inch engine.......If i ever own a vette i'll probaly like to hunt imports and show them the red white and blue. I guess its all what your driving at the time. But remember its a global market. The borders are fading for the new world order!

Why do you even waste time on that Corvette forum? Those guys are so ignorant and stubborn.

How funny, ignorant people always point out the 153 lb/ft torque that S2K has and forget about the 0-60 or 60-100 mph times. Torque is not important if you know how to shift to the right gear at the right speed. Automatic sedans need torque, but not S2K.
