Ferrari 348 vs S2K
I raced a yellow 348 Spider on the highway yesterday. We both had our tops down and were just cruising down the highway when two lanes opened up as far as you could see. The guy in the Ferrari changed lanes and slowed so I could pull along side. He motioned to see if I wanted to test the Ferrari power and we took off. We ran from around 60 to the rev. limiter in 5th and stayed side by side. I was so excited. Even here in Dallas I don't see Ferrari's that often, and never do they want to play.

The 348 Ferrari and S2k performances (0-120ish) are quite similar.
Don't know much about after that but I think the 348 has a higher top speed - about 165 I think.
0-100mph on a 348 is 13.8 (source Autocar)
I would not recommend trying the same thing on a 355 or 360 however!

GT2000 is right, that's about what to expect from that race. However, had you kept going and the ferrari was in good tune, he would eventually pulled away very slowly.
Also, the non spyder model has a much better drag coefficient so it will be faster then the one your raced.
