Evo Bashing part 2
I knew what was coming when I posted the previous thread, you guys need to face reality. And YES I have tracked both the S2K and the Evo on Limerock, Summit Point, Watkins Glen, and NHIS...so I do know what I am talking about when it comes to comparing these two cars on the race track. And whoever the idiot that said "you must have hit a timewarp to hit a 12.3@111 doesn't know WTF they are talking about. Check out this endless list(http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=118246) of Evo's with ONLY bolt ons running in the 12's. And wouldn't you know it there are plenty of Evo's running a very similar 12.3@111-113 WOW. Keep in mind I have owned both these cars and currently own the S2K...I am simply stating the FACTS.
And what I meant by bashing is titles in this forum such as "I beat a Evo today in my S2K"....ya sure you did. There is no way a S2K can hang with a Evo in the striaght line. I don't see a list of hundreds of S2K in the 9's to 12's on this forum.....but if you look on www.evolutionm.net in the drag racing forum you will.
And what I meant by bashing is titles in this forum such as "I beat a Evo today in my S2K"....ya sure you did. There is no way a S2K can hang with a Evo in the striaght line. And the second part "i beat an EVO in my S2k". First off, not every S2000 is stock and posting these stories. As I've said alredy. In my S2000, i'll take an EVO from pretty much any speed roll. From a stop I won't take a good driver that does a full out launch.
as for stock vs stock, on a freeway roll the S2000 wins. from a low speed roll or stop the EVO wins. IF all drivers are equal. however, this is the street. i've seen vipers run 14's. so to say that "ya sure you did" pretty much explains that you really need to open your eyes. i can't tell you how many crappy drivers i've seen in S2000's lose to slower cars. if you think all EVO drivers out there are god given race drivers then you really need a reality check.
