Evo 1/4 Timeslip
I drive a 02 S2000 with HKS exhaust and a ZEX 55 hp kit and my S2000 got smoked by my girlfriends stock 03 Evolution. I put the numbers side by side as a comparison. So for all you out there that think the Evolution is a econobox look below. Oh ya I forgot to mention after driving the Evo, the S2000 feels like it handles and brakes like a SUV. Not Flamming just stating the truth.
S2000 w/55 shot vs. Stock Mitsu Evo
R/T .902 .650
60' 2.26 1.83
330 5.81 5.21
1/8 8.73 8.38
MPH 83.47 85.37
1000 11.26 11.02
1/4 13.39 13.02
MPH 107.8 106.7
Both runs above where on same track with me driving, If the Evo had exhaust and Nitrous I can bet on atleast mid 12's.

how about some timeslip pics.
Your 60' time in the S2000 sucked! and you Evo time seems a bit too fast for all stock! I don't think any Evo's have run that fast 100% stock.

It wasn't almost traping 108mph (106.7 to be exact), and I do not have a scanner so posting the slip would be way more trouble than its worth. I honestly could careless who beleives the time I was merely stating a fact. Check evolutionm.net there are many low 13 sec stock Evo's out there. And for all that said a 2.2 60' sucked for the S2000 see how well you can do off the line with a 55 shot that ingages under full throtle. I think I am a pretty good driver considering that I hit a 13.9@99 bone stock, haven't noticed too many of you out there doing all that much better (maybe a very few running 13.8).

Wow- that mph for the EVO is insane- it is enough for mid 12's with out a doubt. How cold was it our when you made that run?? Also, how did you launch it and what rpm approx. did you shift at?
You must be one hell of a good driver. I'd call BS but ...
1.) never seen you drive
2.) dont know track conditions.
3.) your gf coulda gotten a factory freak ( granted 3 mph above what the car should run is one hell of a freak)
4.) I've seen videos of some guy in a stock 98 Cobra going 106mph- I guess some people can flat out drive.

How interesting that you say the S2000 handles and brakes like a SUV after driving the Evo, but the Evo has two more doors and seats and probably qualifies as closer to a SUV than the S2000 does. Oooh maybe you should have your S2000 brakes checked! j/k
I don't know the validity in your numbers, but it sounds like where you live may be a deciding factor (thanks for pointing that out, AW).
By the way, guys, his girlfriend wasn't driving. TypeR1159 said that he drove both cars himself on the same track.
