Ever have that funny feeling....

A similar thing happened to me recently. I was coming home from my girlfriend's place, driving down a 3 lane 50mph road in the middle of suburbia. As I drove past the junior college, I saw a Volvo speeding out of the parking lot. It had a glaring HID kit, black rims, and an exhaust. It was one of those boxy midsized volvos from the late 90s to early 00s. He had stickers for turbobricks and some other forum. I could see him speeding and weaving through cars ahead of me, but I managed to catch him at a light without driving aggressively. The driver looked like a geek chic, with glasses and a sweater. We both took off at the light. I immediattely pulled at the launch and kept pulling until 50mph when he was several car lenghts behind. I held my speed and he flew past me and kept going to what looked like 80mph. Just then, a cop pulled out from the car behind me, full lights, and sped up to the Volvo and pulled him over. A few minutes later, I passed by the scene of the crime and he was still pulled over.

Yes I have had that feeling and it saved me big time. This was not in a s2k but anyways heres the story
Back in high school, late night, taking a girl home driving my 69 ford pickup with a new 390 cubic inch v-8, some other old school mods. Putting out over 300 hp and tons of torque but nothing to brag about in a s2k forum.....
Pull up to a light next to a early 60's ford in great condition. Both of our lanes turn left so light turns green we turn left and both drop it at the same time. He is about a car length ahead of me and we're doing 60+ in a 25 zone. Something tells me to slow down and turn so I do just that and zip into a gas station. When i come out of the gas station after buying something he had been pulled over down the road so I drive by and he starts pointing at my truck to the cop. So i get out of the area asap.
15 minutes later on my way back home, the guy in the truck finds me and follows me for 10 minutes, flashing his high beams and riding my ass, then leaves.
Then the next day, a cop pulls up to our street and parks outside my house for 10-20 minutes. Never comes to the door or anything. Then just leaves. No idea if it was related to the night before, It was really odd.
I am pretty sure the cop saw the majority of the race but chose to get him instead of me, poor guy.

Yikes! I thought this was street encounters, not some other form of encounters. What forum is this?
The tighter it is.. The more serious business the internet gets..

Teh lol'z were had in this thread.
But I get nervous everytime I "punch it" in the S. In my area, cops are EVERYWHERE. Plus, we drive a profiled "boy racer" car. Our cars are much more flashier than a Geo metro breaking the speed limit.
Always trust your instinct.
