Ever have that funny feeling....
I know I need to invest in a valentine 2 or something, but last night was just strange.
I was driving home from work in mildly wet conditions when i came to a stop light. There was a subaru wrx wagon behind me. I didnt get too good of a look at him since my rear window was all wet and dirty. The light turned green and I drove as normal. He whipped from behind me and got on the gas and matched speed. I saw some "bro" looking driver with a beanie on look over as he passed, and I decided to not give him the joy of passing me.
I accelerate to catch up and can hear his exhaust and tell hes going WOT. Just as I reach 70ish, I get a funny feeling and I let off. The speed limit on that road is 55 at the light, and opens up to 65 a short distance later. There were no other visible cars around other than a SUV behind us, and an old beater stuck at the red light. SOMETHING just doesnt feel right and I put on my brakes.
Maybe the subie driver thought that I knew something he didnt, and his brake lights begin to glow red. We slow to about 50 and wouldnt you know it, right in front of us turns a cop car who we are both now driving behind obediently with our buttholes clenched tight.
