What year BMW is the E36? I know the 97's ran 14.1 stock. That looks compariable to an S2000. If you were driving the 2002 M3 which is a low 13 car, then 5 car lengths is more believable.

There are two different engines found in the E36 M3 which Bad 97 WS-6 was referring too. 3.0L and 3.2L. Both have 240hp but the 3.2L obviously has more torque.
