CTSC vs C6
Hey guys I finally had an opportunity to get a little comparo of power today. I had a new C6 in front of me on a country road. We were cruising on a 55mph road and he decided to slow down, I thought strange at first since there was no one in front of him for a ways, and just as I thought that I quickly grabbed 2nd gear because sure enough he got on it to display his fierce new Vet. We went from 45ish to my mid 4th gear, so about 105 or so. He got a 1/2 car jump on me before i could react of course, hit redline in second and shifted to 3rd, he is slowly pulling to now another car gap or so, I redline in 3rd and his progression slows to another 1/2 car on top of that, I hit 4th and I am tracking with him now, he is no longer pulling away and like mentioned he lets off before I can get into my power band in fourth gear. Overall I was proud of my car and am sure he was surprised to still see me in his rear view mirror just a few cars further away from where he started. I have not dyno'd my car yet but from this comparison drag race from 45-105+ i think It would be a dead heat drag race with just another 15-20whp. My mods are/
-CTSC 8 psi on stock ecu and injectors.
-8 pound Findanza flywheel/stock clutch.
- TB coolent block off.
- stockheader/ test pipe and Tanabe 60mm dual
Any guesses on what I am making? I figure its got to be close to 320-325whp
Whats the new C6 make now 405 engine hp? 370whp?

yep, 430hp it has the all new Ls2 i believe its 6.2ltrs. maybe a 70mm exhaust would help you keep up probably
Yeah i'm sure that 70mm wouldn't hurt at all.... except for everyone's ears. I've decided its not worth the trade off for me. I can always up the boost a bit more instead.
