So a bunch of us UMW owners had a Tech day all day saturday. Well after 4 of us left around midnight we cruised home together. We were on 94 for about 20 mins, I was the last vehicle in the group, when all of a sudden this orange Charger with what looked like some chrome 20's or 22's flys right by us, I saw his headlights coming up on us fast so I downshifted to 3rd and went WOT as soon as he came by me. I gave chase and slowly realed him in. I passed him up by the time is was at the top of 4th gear and slowly pulled away from him, by the end of 5th gear I had a good 3 cars on him. I let him catch up going 65 and we line up, as soon as he goes WOT I chase after him and start to reel him in and start pulling on him, by the top of 6th I had a good 6 cars on him.I couldn't tell if he had passengers in his car tho, it was all tinted out and it was midnight lol. I slow down to 50 miles an hour and he wouldn't come near me. My 3 buddies catch up and the R/T would not come near any of us. well we keep cruising and not 2 mins later a GTO merges onto the highway right next to me (he has a female passanger). I didn't look close enough to see if it was a 5.7 or the 6.0. It was a dark color with white racing stripes. It sounded mean as hell. Well we look over at each other and we both know what we want lol. He says to go on 3. going 65, I'm now in 3rd and waiting for the honks. As soon as he honks the third time we are both off, my buddies later tell me I shot flames out my exhaust lol, so we both go WOT and neither of us are pulling away, shift into 4th and I start pullin ever so slightly. shift into 5th and pull a little bit more. we both let off when i top off 5th and I have barely 1 car on him. we did the same exact run 2 more times with the same exact results. Probably one of the best runs I have ever had, he gave me a thumbs up and got off at the next exit. It was such a great way to end the night after a long day and night of working on cars.

I honestly doubt it was a 5.7 GTO unless he had major mods. I pulled one last night by about 2 cars from 70 to 112 and I'm N/A.

Never ran either GTO before, so have not idea lol. I thought they were supposed to be pretty quick

They are pretty quick definitely, I might have jumped on him a little but idk he was the one who downshifted first and instigated the whole race so idk. I mean they are like 360 hp or something like that,

Brian, I didn't even see you catch up to us lol. I began to wonder if you even came with us lol. Alex and garrison caught up. Alex said he only heard the GTO, that thing was loud.

HM good runs, usually if a person is close to hanging w me in 3rd, i just blow them away in 4th, interesting that he stayed right with you

Yeah, it was for sure one of the best runs I've had so far. That GTO sounded so nice. all 3 runs ended exactly the same, so be both must have had equal skill in shifting. I hope I run into him again, I'm curious to know his mods.
