Since you hate imports, pop the hood and throw out all the parts that are not made in USA or built in USA.

Although S2000 is built in Japan ssssssssso many Hondas and Toyotas are built in this great country we live in..

Oh, no, I hope I didn't start this flaming war.
I have every respect for C5 and S2000.
Matter of fact, these two other cars were my top choices along with new M Roadster.
One of my co-worker just bought a spa yellow S2000 and I absolutely love it.
I test drove C5 about an year ago, and it pulled like a freight train.
If S2000 some punch in it, I would have bought it.
If C5 was not made by Chevy, I would have bought it (I know, I sound shallow, but I had my share of bad experience with GM cars).
Besides, I am glad that there is C5 with American name brand. It's affordable and able to keep up or beat most other sports cars out there.
Just my 2 cents.
