He had a good laugh watching you take off, I'm sure.
i doubt that, because he pulled next to me at the next light and gave me a thumbs up, not something you do if you just want to laugh at someone. We couldnt go again because there were cars in front of us then. I understand according to magazines he shouldve won, but not if you spin your tires and barely move.

cyrus, the cloud of smoke would have been so ridiculous it would have covered a city block. I have trouble with C5's and we both know what happens when me and you race.....

It is *real* easy to break the wheels loose in a C5, moreso in the Z06, so if some non-driver was trying to show off that is very possible that he was just smokin' them at the light while you ran off.

EDIT--> (I'm assuming these are on a 'Vette, correct me if Im wrong)

19s nice... do you have pictures of them on the car? And how much did you pay for them w/ tires if you don't mind me asking.

I have the regular Z06 wheels that came w/ the car but they have been machined down to remove the gray powder coat that I *hate*, one of the worst stock features on that car IMHO, but I really have been wanting to get a set of aftermarket 19s to put on there.

Even if you have a link to a website instead of a actual pic that would be helpful, I'm always lookin' for good deals on rims at least until I replace these OEM wheels.

nice kill.

i've seen a "1987 SOHC Honda Prelude-Si beater with a dead 218 k mile odometer" destroy a 98 VTEC w/ CAI due to spinning tires. let's not forget the driver and the car are being challenged in a race.. if either fails to measure up, you can lose ... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah....

nice kill.
