Default C5

So i was out looking for an rx7, rx8, 350 or something to race and i pull up to a light and this C5 vette pulls beside me. He revs and i look over and make eye contact. I inch up to the white line and he follows. Light turns green, I launch from 5k and i went off. He didnt seem to be going anywhere so my guess is that he just spun at the light. But in conclusion, i beat a c5.

Uninteresting race, but a win is a win.

You actually go looking for street races? That's bad!

Ummm... no offense, but it sounds to me more like he just decided not to bother.
He had a good laugh watching you take off, I'm sure.

It is *real* easy to break the wheels loose in a C5, moreso in the Z06, so if some non-driver was trying to show off that is very possible that he was just smokin' them at the light while you ran off.

I actually buy that story completely. I've been driving the Z a while now and I still occasionally just nail it too hard and they just don't hook up well sometimes... shit happens.

I think had the C5 been smoking his tires so badly that he actually didn't move forward at all, the cloud of smoke would have been rather apparent.
