The is still in the works so I am not sure if the number will go up or down from 400 rwhp.
When this number was generated, the car was running with stock intake and 11 psi of boost.
The stock intake manifold blew that point.
With their custom made aluminum intake and they were getting 370 rwhp with only 4 psi when I went to Curry's last Saturday.
Apparently, custom aluminum intake was generating much more power.
If everything goes well, 400 + rwhp is definitely possible but I just have to wait and see.
Notice that I only got 250ish out of 315 hp motor since it was running on Mustang dyno. So 400 rwhp is alot of jump for me.
Did you get a chance to dyno your SLK32? What do they usually run at? (Mustang or Dynoject?)

m power,
any issues with trying to put that much power down??
i would guess that it may be difficult.....but, i'm no expert.....just curious.....
in my stock C32, with ESP off, i've already laid down a couple of car lengths worth of rubber in various places around my neighborhood - it's kinda like my "signature" in the 'hood
plus, the kids get a kick out of it

JD32, wow, 300 rwhp, is that from stock? SLK32 comes with 349 hp motor so that's less than 13% loss on MUSTANG dyno? And it's automatic? I guess either SLK32 is underrated from factory or your car was not stock at the time?
I did my base line dyno during this summer. But regardless of the temperature, I was experiencing 20% loss from the factory claimed HP on Mustang Dyno. I wonder how stock M Roadster runs neck to neck against stock SLK32 if there is about 50 rwhp difference (and there is only about 100lb difference).
But anyway, 300rwhp on 3220lb car? That's pretty impressive. I guess it's on par with C5s as far as power to weight ratio is concerned?
TKG 26, the stock rear end differential comes with 3.15 ratio. I upgraded it to 3.46 for quicker acceleration but I didn't have SC in mind at that time though. I agree with you though. It may be a bit too much with 400rwhp...I am going to run through these stock tires fast and get bigger ones. That should help somewhat. But if I practice a lot and master the launch technique, my car will be a very formidable foe on the street and track.

My car was about as stock as it gets then.... 300rwhp was the average out of the 3 runs that i did. With stock wheels and tires, there is too much wheelsping off the line on the road. On the 1/4 track, they were not that bad. Now I have 255 on 18". And they are not as bad as it was w/ the 245 on 17". Matt told me to use 15% loss at the time... so it was about right that the car is rated at 349hp.
It was about 10k miles ago when I dynoed my car. I think I'm gonna dyno it again soon. Maybe when the weather gets a bit colder. BTW, anybody here interested in doing Group Dyno at Curry's. The last time I went with VWvortex, they charged me $50/3runs.
