I almost forgot...I had a little run in with a rabbit... but i lost....chewed up my extra injector wire...and some stereo wires...

i would rather run it over than try to avoid it, then you can possibly hurt yourself or other PEOPLE. squirels are funny too, they just sit there like they are going to stop the car

Exactly. I have done the same with a couple of encounters with rabbits. I would rather blast the little bastard than risk anything else....worse case with that, I might damage my front lip.

Just the other day I was driving through a backroad and narrowly avoided hitting a deer. He was just standing in the middle of the road while the rest of his herd was just staring at me from the sideline. I managed to stop just a bit short of it and had to wait for all of them to decide to cross.

I knew if I had taken off after the first one decided to cross the others would have plowed into the side of my car.
