Default AP1 vs. Newer Acura TL type S

On the way home tonight on the freeway, top down I see a Newer model Acura TL pacing me. He continues to pace for a mile or so then decides to switch lanes and get next to me. I had only 2 bars of gas left so I decided to just give it a go. We're side by side for a few moments, I downshift to 4th, going about 80mph . Acura hears me down shift, he guns it. I hesitated a bit so right away he jumps a car. From there it was just a matter of time til' I knew I would pull on him. I started pulling around 100 and shut down about 125-130 with a good 2-3 cars. Slowed down, gave the thumbs up. Called it a night.

thot the TL-S had more top end than that.

125-130mph is pretty fast on public highway esp. shitty ass uneven pavements they call roads for SOCAL freeways, be careful mate.

Good run, but be careful. Like fusionchickenleg said; things can go wrong quickly up there. Can't always trust the other driver can handle it either.

Yeah, I pondered that for a minute. But for those who know San Diego freeways we we're in the near long straightaway near the 76.

I thought for sure the TL would give me a better fight but it was crazy how fast I started pulling away at around 105mph.

Definitely depends on the driver. I've dealt with a few Type-S TLs with stick shift on them.
