AP1 vs 03-04 mustang gt convertible
...ran into an 03-04 mustang gt convertible last night on my way home from picking up some food for dinner.
i was alone and so was she. we were both sitting a red light waiting to turn left. personally i've only ran 1 GT mustang and it was an 03-04 coupe. i figured i'd win this one but, was eager to run anyways...
the light turned green and we both made the left turn side by side and i paced her through 1st letting my exhuast get louder and louder so she could hear it. next thing i knew she punched it and so did i right in the middle of vtec. shifted into 2nd and immediately began to pull even. shifting into 3rd i was pulling away easily but we came to a red light. i looked over and the girl smiled back at me. the light turned green and we paced each other again. at about 6k in 1st i punched it and so did she. i could hear her chirp the tires during the 1-2 shift but, i was easily pulling her once again all the way through 3rd. i shifted to 4th but was only in it for a split second as i was already ahead by 2 cars almost. she turned off the road and that was it. couldn't tell if she was hot because she had her window rolled up but i thought it was funny. its hard to find women willing enough to race me lol.
my run w/ the 03-04 GT coupe ended w/ simliar results
both GT's appeared to be stock.
after racing 2 turbocharged cars the other week and losing, i finally get a 1 for the win column. =]
