Just ignore him, he's just trolling to get people pissed off. He's lucky I'm not an admin... the ban stick would be wacking him right now for purposely trying to start flame war.

mecha godzilla you shouldnt talk it you dont know what your talking about, the sti due to its intake manifold design runs out of air at high speed and if you think i'm talking sh&* then go visit magnus motorsports and see why they build a $1000 intake manifold for this very purpose for that car. I've raced supped up wrx's from 60 on and had them 10 car lengths behind me, stock 05 s2000. They are for off the line only they run out of gas up top.
lol... looks like garbage imho.
2. the stock mapping for the vf39 is the MAJOR culprit for the less than stellar high end performance. a decent reflash can get it peak @ 17-18 psi and only drop to 14.5-15 psi.
3. the heads were designed for low rpm torque. they become a restriction along with the cams above 400 whp.
4. racing 'supped' up wrx's? oooooohhhhhh. did they come with APC stikkerz too?
one of the quirks of the sti, is that it doesn't always respond as well as some F.I. (evo) cars to basic mods.
because of the layout of the motor and the cost involved in doing more traditional upgrades like cams, headstuds, forged pistons, etc; it's pretty cool that 400whp is achievable on the sti with the stock:
header
intake manifold
uppipe
tmic (if you live in an appropriate climate)
intake

one more thing about the sti, and then i'll be done.
one problem, if you wan tot call it that, is the sti ecu is EXTREMELY finicky.
since i assume most of you have never seen an sti being reflashed via ecutek or cobb's protuner software, i'll keep it simple.
every time an sti starts up the ecu has to make a decision between 4 maps for various parameters.
more often than not, the owner does not know th eright way to make the ecu's Ignition advance multiplier get to 1.0 which is optimal.
hott ass weather, bad gas, hammering on the car immediately after pullin out onto the road, not allowing oil & coolant temps to reach optimal operating range, can all attribute to the car choosing one of the 2 least aggressive maps.
i've watched a tuner manipulate all these parameters and make it so the sti ecu has a narrower range to choose from, thereby forcing the ecu to run agressive maps more often.
safety parameters are still in place, but the degree to which the ecu can eff the performance is greatly reduced.
am i saying this is an excuse for all sti's who lose? no way
some guys can't drive worth shit, and the S can pull pretty nice up top.
however, i noticed varying degrees of performance when my car was stock. that is, until i knew what was causing it to act that way.
none of that matters now though...
412 awhp and 430 awtq sure is enough to scare me @ any speed.
happy hunting...

Er??? What year STI?
The STI/EVOs aren't as impressive as they are from down low, but they are about the same as the S at high speed runs. I would expect it to be close, not 2 cars.

Not turns, but tums which helps with indigestion after eating S's from a dig. See, by neutralising excess stomach acid, TUMS tablets provide fast, effective relief from indigestion, heartburn and trapped wind.
