is 80mph really the breaking point in determining the STis top speed? if so, please list your sources of information. i really wish i was stock right now to see if this is in fact true.
STis trap 103mph in the quarter, what does the S do?

S traps anywhere from 98-100 mph, 101++mph are very rare though.

my STi had no problem getting to 160mph, granted mine wasn't stock Anyways, from a high mph roll a STOCK STi vs. a STOCK S2000, the S will slightly pull. I have owned both cars, so i am completely unbiased. maybe someone can get a race on video to shut some of these people up

I wish I could video everything. I get into a lot of random races. Whats a good digital video camera?

Make sure you do your run with the top down. The S2000 isn't pulling on anything above 80 mph. It would have a hard time with an Accord Hybrid, let alone an STi. Even with a supercharger and 290hp at the wheels, my S2000 could barely crack 140 in a reasonable distance. Just not enough power to overcome the drag.
This should be a MythBusters episode.

Wish I could get some new footedge running my friend but he will be out of the country for another week. I do have some footedge of two highway runs we did a while back, but it's not the best quality, and the runs began behind the camera car. I will try to find them.
