Default Another STI Down

Was on I-90 at around 12 am tonight, blue sti cuts in in front of me, no traffic for 2 miles in front of us, he floors it, I floor it, I'm at his bumper till maybe 80 where I start to pull, by 90 im right next to him, 100===1 car, 110===2 cars, shut down at 115 with a nice solid lead on him. Had a passenger in my car who as soon as he saw I was going for it said "you're gonna race an sti?" like it's some monster car because he's supposedly driven one and it "feels" like it accelerates faster than the s2000. When he saw the outcome, he was like=== holy shit. Then I got to explain to him how torque makes a car seem faster when in reality its not. I'm not sure if he fully understood me though, he's not much of a car guy. (owns a scion tc). Now I know a STI will eat me for lunch from a dig, but I've demostrated to myself at least for the 50th time that EVO's and STI's are slower than a properly driven s2000 from a roll. I got the flame suit on just in case though so... feel free if ya wish.

The non-existant kind. 100% stock.

the S2000 can slowly pull on the top end (freeway speeds) of a stock STi or EVO. remember that a large reason they get those fantastic 13.1 ET's is from the AWD launch. from a freeway speed roll, they are much different beasts.

Er??? What year STI?

The STI/EVOs aren't as impressive as they are from down low, but they are about the same as the S at high speed runs. I would expect it to be close, not 2 cars.

More like 1.6 and up...But still Much better then our s's could ever dream of...One of the best 60ft times i've heard of on an s is 1.9 which is very nice for a street tire set up....

hey sweet kill. I'm surprised cause when I posted my sti runs all I got were flames. 2 cars by 110 sounds right, in my encounter i had 4-5 cars by 140.
