About the S2K not "feeling fast"... I always refer to it as "sneaky fast" because everytime I drive it or ride in it, I don't realize how fast we are going until you check the speedo.

About beating Mustangs, I had one give me the best street race I've had in months yesterday. I went to the NASCAR race in Dover DE. yesterday and had a worked Mustang piss me off enough to warrant a beat down. 1st red light we came to he didn't move, I don't know if he was sizing me up or not paying attention because he was blasting past me all the way up Rt. 13. I took off (looking like a fool because he didn't bite). 2nd light I put about 5 car lengths on him by the top of 3rd which is as tight of a street race I've had in a while. The punk blew past me without acknowledging me at all. I pulled in behind him and almost rear-ended him at the 3rd light when he smoked the tires BADLY in 2nd gear. At that point I backed off and let him go. Either way, it was a nice car (sounded sweet) with a prick behind the wheel. I have no idea what kind of work he had into it, but the way it sounded and how well he hung leads me to believe he had some coin into it.

Hmm, runs 13s huh!! Since Chris doesn't give out ETs, I won't give his out either. But like he said, it isn't as fast as it should be. He'll get that fixed up at some point though.

Let's put it this way, we pulled out on to 287 two nights ago. He was in front of me so he did get the jump. I was in first at about 35mph. He took off, and I nicked the rev limiter which slowed me a bit, but when we got out in the middle of the highway, he was probably 8 car lengths ahead of me.

On the way home, pulling on to 287 again, I was a little more prepared. I was right at 6000 rpm in 1st when we hit it and I was about 2-4 car lengths behind. At the line, this would be no contest.

Why do they suck? I have a few friends that own them or have owned them. They're not my type of car, but I don't know if they suck. They sound sweet.
