Advice on whether to buy an S2k
I have a 2 year old Prelude thats worth what I owe. Would you all recommend making an even trade with the dealership and leasing an S2k, or keep making loan payments on my Prelude and upgrading it? The payments would be about the same, but it would be a lease. Any advice would be appreciated.

Keep the Prelude until it's paid off. There's no doubt you'd love the S2K, but your proposition is not financially wise especially if you drive a lot... I was recently faced with a similar situation in which I wanted to trade in my car on a used 3000GT VR4... Even though I would have been making lower monthly payments, the end result would have been a huge financial loss.. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but just to carefully consider the circumstances. How much will your Prelude be worth when it's paid off?? If you make this move now, and get an S2K on lease, that's how much you'll end up losing because at the end of the lease you'll have nothing to show for it...

Dude, I feel your pain... I just went through the same exact thing... In fact I still haven't completely decided... Although I did purchase a set of racing disc brakes for the Stang today, so I probably should keep it... Let me advise you a bit more... Are you in a decent financial situation?? In other words, do you have a lot of debt (like $5k+)?. Are you struggling to pay all of your bills with each paycheck? Do you have any emergency money saved up?? If you answered "no" to the first two, and "yes" to the last one, then by all means, go to that damn dealership right now and get yourself the car of your dreams... If not, reconsider your finances once again...
