My buddy bought an automatic. .
"I'm an old fart. I'm not going to race, and I'm not interested in shifting on 101 (clogged freeway)."

I was following one closely a while back. He was trying like hell to get away from me. I couldnt even get into VTEC because if I did I would have gone straight up his tail pipe. He had some mods too, was lowered and had an exhaust.
Its not even in the same league as the S2000 stock, it would be like me trying to race a new corvette...
edit: note I was not tailgating him, I kept several car lengths between us, I cant STAND tailgaters, but by the smoke coming from his exhaust you can tell he was gunning it...

I think the car might have had mods to it but not sure what. He had a number written on his windows like he just came back from the track. I def know he added a new exhaust because his car was pretty loud and suprisingly, it sounded pretty good. But after we did our little run, I was laughing out loud the whole time because I was in disbelief.
Did you know that accord's can keep up with G35's? I think a lot of G35 owners wouldn't believe it, but I have a couple stories to tell. I'll post one later on when I time.

Are you serious? I'm not saying that a coupe g35 and a couple accord v6 are neck to neck, but it wouldn't get destroyed. The accord v6 6spmt is a pretty fast car. If it could keep up with an rx-8, it wouldn't get crushed by a g35 coupe 6spd. You can look up numbers for the accord coupe. It's not that bad at all.

Not sure what spec you get in the US but in the UK we have a low power and a high power version putting out 198bhp & 238bhp respectively.
Could have been the former.
