99+ Mustang GT vs. S2K
Last night me and my friend who happens to do work for me, were cruising down MacLeod Tr., we had just finished eating some Denny's and it was now about 11:30PM.
We get to a light and a 99+ Mustang GT comes up on my rightside, revving his engine, his passenger rolls down the window and tells me to run them, I asked them what they had done & buddy says "Too Much".
I look to my right and see my friend in his 04 Subaru urging me on like crazy.
So i look back to the GT and say "Ok, I'll try." So the Mustang has two passengers probably an extra 250lbs, because one is a girl. Anyways light goes green I launched flawlessly, tires spun and grabbed quickly at 5900 and then I ripped through second, shift 3rd at 8800. No kidding I look back and the Mustang is about 3-4 car lengths behind already.
They pull beside me at the next light and give the typical excuse "This is his first time driving it.", I was like ok fine, they asked me to go again, but I declined because we were approaching a intersection where five-o always hide out to catch speeders. no kidding 2min later there was police just sitting their waiting to catch someone. Thank god I didn't race, i thought.
Next thing I know, just 2 lights later a 01ish lookin Cobra pulls up beside me, this mans wife looks over at me and smiles, I gave her a little smile back trying to work some majic, hahaha not happening. The Cobra dirver just takes off at green. all in all a eventful ride home, too bad I ran into a BS GT owner who drove his "Too Much to say modified GT for the first time." oh man that is funny
BTW, I am only running Invidia Exhaust w/silencers in

I ran an '02 GT with an exhaust and a Super Chip. I drove my friends S, not mine because he wanted to see what his would do.
My friend has a black '01 S with a full comptech suspension.
We pull up at the light and he says you want to run, so i responded"maybe." I asked what he had done and he told me just exhaust and superchip. These were little white dudes acting all ghetto wishing they were a different color, ya know, thinking their GT was something.
We pulled off slow, and he punches it before i could get to that infamous point (Ya know, where you cruise sittin' at 6000, waiting to punch it), so i punch it and he was probably 1 car length ahead when he punched it and by the end of 2nd i was at his back quarter panel.
The only reason the race ended was because he slammed on his breaks, because he saw me comin' up.
The passenger looked over at me and said "That's fast." I said it's only a 4 cylinder, and he says yeah right.
He didn't give me time to speak after that, he just punched it and left. What a bad sport.
I wish I would have taken my S, show his little happy ass what a 75 shot of laughing gas will do to his new V8.

Kinda sucks cuz unless they can't drive they usually beat me lol

I can't see any one in a new S losing to a GT form a roll- they pull too hard up top in 2nd and 3rd. Too bad the guy hit the brakes.
I dunno if I'd win but I'd mess w/ u SoFlaNSX. There is no way I could resist the possiblity of hearing the sound of a NSX at full throttle ( I don't know why but they are my favorite sounding car).
- P.S.- Im usually good for 105-106 / 13.2-13.7 but I run at a fast track here in NJ.
