Wisconsin S2k

One of the first races of the night was me vs a mystery integra. The guy kinda rolled around looking at the cars and stopped, wanting to race my S2000. I told him it was stock, and I asked what he had done. He just said he had bolt ons. (i later found out he had 75 shot, but he didn't use it)

I took him off the launch by about 1 or 2 lengths, and pulled another 3 by the time we hit 80 or 90. I was still pulling when we finished. Afterwards he wanted to run again (so he could use his nitrous) but I declined. I did however, find out his integra was an LS/VTEC (with the B18C5 head) and he has I/H/E.

Afterwards, my friend with the camaro SS raced a guy in a grand am who was being cocky as hell all night. He was like 40 and there with his wife. Here was our conversation...

Me: hey, you here to watch?
Him: yeah, nothing worth running here.
Me: uh, why, do you have a lot done to your grand am?
Him: yup.
Me: What do you have done?
Him: A cam and 150 shot nitrous.
Me: Is that it?
Him: yeah.
Me: What kind of system... wet? dry? direct port?
Him: Uh, I don't know, I just had the shop do it.
Me: haha, that's funny, next time I need to break in a toilet I'll call you cuz you're so full of shit.

Ok, so I didn't really say that, but I should have.

So my friend races him and the grand am gets a bit ahead (my friend is f*cking with him) and after that, the SS just blows by and takes a layer of paint off the door.

The guy in the grand am just keeps going, tail between his legs. 150 shot my ass.

Oddly enough, here in Austin we get a lot of 40+ y/o guys.

Like the cool one that drives the 550 Marenello. He shows up every Saturday. Nice guy.

Then there was the guy with the Late 80's Porsche 944 drinking a Bud asking me about my car. Every other thought in my head was "Why don't they just leave me alone?"

no, actually, they all have ford f-250's and silverado HDs

though some have a mclaren f1, a ruf Rturbo (a faster 911 GT2), lingenfelter vette II and some hennessey vipers... they're kinda quick
