Default 88 pulsar vs 03 Si vs 00' S

So my little brother and best friend were talking shit to each other all yesterday at work.(Yes we all work together)

Friend- 88' pulsar
intake, exhaust, cam, high flow fuel pump and injectors. (used to be turbo) 200 lbs weight removed

Brother- 03' Civic Si
intake/exhaust, 100 lbs weight removed

Both have heavy 17" rims

10 mph roll- to my suprise my friend kept up with him until his mount for throttle cable fell off. He was at his rear window to entire time.

So I race my brothers Si in my stock S from a 10 mph roll.

He pulled until I hit about 7000 rpms in first, after that I kept pulling and pulling. I probably pulled 5 cars before we shut down (well short of 1/4th mile)

This was my first race with the S. And the fact the Si was my previous car made it that much more fun.

I didn't know that people modified Pulsars. I've never seen one before. As for the Civic Si, be careful for the sleepers - the ones that have done the K20 swaps. I have a friend with the Si who grenaded his original engine and swapped in the K20 + I/H/E + 100lbs reduction. The last time he dynoed, his car put about 200hp to the ground with a nice flat torque curve. Couple that with his weight reduction, and he's able to pull on stock S2Ks. Sleeper, I tell you, but as an ex-Si owner, you probably already know.

Well, he bought the pulsar like it is now. It is pretty quick.
As for the Si, still has the 160hp k20a3 in it, so I knew there would be no problem in winning. He does plan on dropping a type-s motor in it.

I am also a k-series follower, so much potential. I almost got a Type-S over my S2000. But, I couldn't resist temptation.

Anyways, we all had fun!
